The challenge

The flat roof section needed to be redesigned so it would drain, and the parapet walls around it had to come out.

What we did

  • Removed the parapet walls
  • Redesigned the flat roof with new crickets for drainage
  • Installed a seamless 30 ft wide sheet of 60 mil EPDM
  • Added rafter bridging and new insulation
  • Replaced the gable decking
  • Installed ice and water shield along every eave and valley
  • Installed CertainTeed Landmark Pro shingles
