The challenge

Eighteen roof sections means more cuts, more hip lines and more edges to seal. This roof has about 164 feet of hips, 294 feet of eaves and 58 feet of step flashing. There was also a chimney to flash around.

The homeowner was also dealing with an insurance claim and wanted help understanding it.

What we did

Inspected and photographed the roof, helped her through the insurance process, then replaced the roof with CertainTeed Landmark shingles, with ice and water shield along every eave and valley. After the job we registered the warranty and sent her the certificate.

The result

A new CertainTeed Landmark roof with a registered manufacturer warranty.
